Everybody, say hello to one of our very favorite summer activities in Lake Tahoe. Rafting on the Truckee River is what summer is all about. An easy, 5-mile float (with a few mellow rapids to get your heart rate up) this is the ultimate family-friendly, pet-friendly summer activity.
The float takes about 2-3 hours and starts in Tahoe City. When booking with Truckee River Raft, you’ll get an inflatable raft that fits 2-20 people, free parking plus a shuttle service between the start and end of the float. It’s BYOB & snacks, and a self-guided float. You can take as little or as long as you want on the river—stop for swim breaks or send it straight through!
