HIKING & BIKING TRAILS

Listen, we love the lake just as much the next person. But with Lake Tahoe sitting at more than 6,000 feet in elevation, there’s simply more to enjoy. Tahoe’s mountains are laced with endless hiking and biking trails, ranging from challenging backpacking routes to mellow, paved paths that meander along the lake’s edge.

Beyond big lungfuls of that pure mountain air and a decidedly good reason to refuel at an evening happy hour, hidden waterfalls, secluded lakes and expansive views await past every trailhead. Needless to say, we’re happy to share a few of our favorite hiking and biking trails around Lake Tahoe.
